The Crane Wife

Okay, so this Hunter is, I guess, hunting like this is back in olden times. So there's this Hunter and he comes across a crane trapped in his trap, I guess, um, and he decides to free it. And later that day he goes, Oh, he's at home and he hears a knock at the door and when he opens it, there's this beautiful woman outside. And she says, I'm here to repay a debt, and I'll become your wife. And he accepts her as his wife. And I think they fall into like he needs met. There's some there's some versions of this story where he is sick and he needs medicine, or they're just poor in general. And she says, I can make us money, but I'm what I need is a shed. And I will, um, I will hide myself away in the shed for three days. And no matter what, you cannot look in the shed so he says okay, and builds her shed. And she hides herself away for three days. And when she comes back, she is hold she looks she looks really sick. And she but she's holding this beautiful cloth like the most beautiful cloth he's ever seen. And she says, I made this go sell it at the market and you'll be able to get a lot of money off of it. So he goes and sells it and it makes a lot of money. And they use the money to pay for his medicine or whatever. And eventually, they need more medicine or they just need more money in general. So she goes and does it again. And once again comes back out with beautiful cloth and she looks terrible if she looks pale and sickly. And he's worried for her. But she hands him the cloth and says go sell this and he does and uses the money as he needs. And the third time this happens. She once again says don't look in the shed while I'm working. I'll be back. And he is so curious that as she's in the shed, he cracks the door and takes in and what he sees is this crane the one that he saved he sees this crane sitting up a loom and weaving cloth and what he sees is that the cloth is made out of her feathers. She is picking feathers off of herself and weaving them into cloth. And that's why the cloth is so beautiful. And in his shocking he he either knock something over or or makes a sound or something. But he catches her attention and she turns to him and says You didn't listen to the rules and repeat. So I can't stay with you anymore. So she flies off into the distance and he loses his wife
